Adam Milstein is the National Chairman of the Israeli-American Council. He heads the national expansion for the organization. Adam is co-founder of the Milstein Family Foundation, along with his wife Gila. His charitable activities involve a number of areas, including consulting, fundraising for education, Jewish continuity and Pro-Israel advocacy activities. The foundation invests time and energy, along with providing financial support to the organizations they are involved with. The foundation likes to support people throughout the various stages of their lives. They have programs that support children, young adults and adults. They are interested in a continuous connection with the people they support.
Milstein is involved with many Jewish organizations including Jewish Funders Network, Los Angeles Board of Birthright Israel, StandWithUs, Hasbara Fellowships, and others. He and his wife are co-founders of Sifriyat Pijama B’America, which provides monthly books in Hebrew teaching Jewish values to Israeli-Jewish-American families.
Adam was born in Haifa, Israel. He served in the Israeli Defense Forces during the 1973 Yom Kippur War. After leaving the defense forces, he attended Technion, the Israeli Institute of Technology. He graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s Degree in business and economics. Adam learned about real estate construction and development by working alongside his father, Hillel. Adam and Gila were married in Haifa.
He moved to the U.S. in 1981. He received his MBA from the University of Southern California, and started a career in Commercial Real Estate. Currently, Adam is a managing partner with Hager Pacific Properties in Southern California. The company is a real estate investment firm that owns and handles commercial and industrial real estate around the country.
Adam and Gila live in Encino, California. They have three children as well as three grandchildren. They continue to work to strengthen the State of Israel and its ties to the U.S. They strive to ensure Jewish identity both in the U.S. and around the world.
