Joel Friant and his different business ventures

Perfectly dried and flaked quality habanero peppers that deliver smoking flavor and a spicy kick; that’s what you get from the Original Habanero Shaker. The developer of the Original Habanero Shaker, Joel Friant, is no stranger to spice. He owned and operated a Thai food restaurant which specialized in fast food offerings. The dishes at this restaurant, like most Thai foods, were often very spicy, and Joel’s customers loved it.

Joel had seen and tried some habanero shakers before, but he was never impressed with their quality or flavor. They didn’t taste like a habanero pepper, and they didn’t deliver the same amount of spice. Joel decided to fix this by creating his own habanero shaker. He selected the best habanero peppers he could find, sundried them, and flaked them. He then packaged them in a shaker that retained their flavor over long periods of time. The Original Habanero Shaker was initially sold at big grocery retailers in the state of Washington.

Joel was a natural born businessman, however, and decided to try his hand at another type of business: real estate. He began working at a real estate office and quickly became the best salesman. He was invited by his firm to open a branch office, and for a time worked as the manager of a mortgage office. In his free time, Joel sought out outdated houses and updated them, selling them when the job was finished.

The financial crisis of 2008 forced Joel to try even more new forms of business. He began to study the ins and outs of running an online marketplace. He also developed different concepts that dealt with marketing and branding, eventually coming up with the Income Thermostat. Joel taught his methods to others, both by publishing articles and by hosting online seminars. Joel also began selling his Original Habanero Shaker online and continues to do so to this day.
