Securus Technologies was recently awarded the Gold Stevie for Best Customer Service Training at the 11th annual Stevie Awards for Sales and Customer Service.
Securus was honored for a number of reasons, including having empathy for customers and resolving issues during the first call. The company also developed strategies and materials that would assist team members in empathizing with customers and attending to their needs.
The awards were presented during a banquet on Friday, February 24 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. More than 650 executives from around the world attended.
There are over 2,300 nominations considered from businesses of various sizes and in several industries. Stevie Award finalists were determined by the median score of 77 professionals from around the world who served as independent judges. There were 61 award categories, including Contact Center of the Year, Consulting Practice of the Year and Award for Innovation in Customer Service.
Over 75 members from judging committees determined the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winner during final judging in February. Danny de Hoyos, the senior vice president of operations at Securus, stated that is was an honor for the company to be recognized. de Hoyos also stated that he was proud of the accomplishments Securus Technologies has made in customer service.
